Our dental clinic is open to everyone; you do not need to be a client of other REACH services to become a patient. New patients are always welcome!

REACH Dental Clinic has been a leader in the field of dentistry since 1971 and remains committed to social responsibility. We are a social enterprise and receive no ongoing government funding. Thus, we rely on fees and private financial donations to do the work we do. Thank you to everyone who helps us make a difference!

At REACH Dental Clinic, we put patient's needs first. We strive to provide effective, painless and comfortable dental care by using state-of-the art equipment and the best modern dental practices.

Our dentists, hygienists, and dental support staff work as a team to provide high quality dental care at a reasonable cost. We provide the following services, with an emphasis on dental education and prevention:

  • Dental exams

  • Dental hygiene (done by our hygienists)

  • Restorations (white and silver fillings)

  • Root canal treatments

  • Oral surgery and extractions (simple and complex)

  • Crown and bridge work

  • Night guards

  • Teeth whitening

  • Velscope (cancer screening test)

Dental care is by appointment only. All new patients undergo an initial examination (including x-rays). Your dentist will discuss with you a complete treatment plan and our dental receptionists will give you a cost estimate. We encourage you to take part in your treatment plan by asking questions and by providing any information you feel would be helpful.

Appointment Confirmations

We require patients to confirm their dental appointments 48 hours in advance. Our dental receptionists will contact you by telephone or email, 2 days before your scheduled appointment. If they leave a message for you, please call back to complete the appointment confirmation. We reserve a specific time for your appointment. Please be on time so that the appropriate treatment can be done and we can stay on time for other patients. Being very late may result in the need to re-book your appointment and a $25.00 fee.

If you wish to change or cancel an appointment, we require at least 2 business days notice. This will help you to avoid a $25 fee. Failure to attend two appointments will mean that further treatment will only be possible on a walk-in basis.

All dental treatments need to be paid for at the time of service. Payments can be made by cash, Debit, Visa, or Mastercard. If you are covered with a dental insurance company, our receptionists are happy to bill the covered portion directly to your insurance, saving you from having to seek a reimbursement yourself. When booking your appointment, please provide us with the following information:

  • The name of your insurance company

  • The policy or group numbers

Any changes in your insurance policy need to be reported to our receptionists before your treatment.

We have a subsidy program for individuals and families living on social assistance, where patients do not have to pay the copayment. We also offer a limited discount to low-income patients without any type of insurance.

Please look at our frequently asked questions for more information, and our hours page to see when when the clinic is open. If you have any other questions, please speak with our dental receptionists at 604-254-1331, or by email at

Team-based care means our patients get the benefit of treatment by multiple dental care roles:

  • Dental Receptionists are knowledgable and friendly and are your first contact point with the dental clinic. They will book you in for an appointment, provide you with service estimates, and answer any questions you may have.

  • Licensed Dentists are committed to providing you with comprehensive care in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Also our dentists will be pleased to listen to your concerns and discuss different treatment options with you.

  • Registered Dental Hygienists are true experts. They conduct thorough cleanings and offer education to keep your teeth and gums happy and healthy.

  • Certified Dental Assistants are on hand during examinations and treatments to assist your dentist and you.
