At REACH, medical, dental, pharmacy, mental health and community services come together under one roof, making care easier to find and easier to navigate.

Your gift helps more people in East Vancouver access the care and support they need to be well and stay well.

For many people in our community, getting care is not simple.

Income, housing instability, language, discrimination and complex health needs can all stand between someone and the support they need. When care is difficult to access or navigate, people may wait until a manageable concern becomes much more serious.

 REACH works to remove those barriers by bringing essential health services and community supports together in one welcoming place.
Everyone deserves care that is accessible, respectful and responsive to their life.

Care for the whole person

Health challenges rarely happen one at a time. A medical concern may be connected to mental health, housing, income, family circumstances or difficulty accessing other services.

That is why REACH offers team-based, whole-person care through:

• Medical and urgent primary care

• Dental care

• Pharmacy services

• Counselling and social work

• Indigenous health and wellness

• Multicultural family support

• Health education and community programs

• Help navigating health and social services

At REACH, people do not have to navigate every part of the system alone. A family physician can connect someone with a counsellor. A social worker can help a patient prepare for, or even accompany them to a medical or dental appointment. Language-specific programs and culturally safer spaces help people feel understood, connected and welcome.
It is care built around people, not around programs.

Public funding supports important parts of REACH’s work, but it does not cover everything our community needs.
