Services offered at REACH by our partners:
Since HIM was founded as grassroots organization for HIV prevention in 2009, we have expanded our scope of work to include a wide range of health-based programs and services to help strengthen the health and wellbeing of GBQ men and gender diverse people. These programs and services promote a more wholistic approach to HIV prevention which takes into account people’s social, physical, mental as well as sexual health. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5 to 8:30 pm.
Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (MSDPR)
REACH Medical, Basement Floor
Fridays from 1:30 to 4 pm
The MSDPR community integration specialist staff continued their weekly on-site presence, supporting clients with complex needs in completing applications and accessing provincial services. The assigned worker remains highly in demand, receiving referrals from both REACH staff and external community partners, often with clients waiting for support.
SMART Recovery Meetings

Thursdays 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The SMART Recovery 4-Point Program® helps people recover from all types of addiction and addictive behaviours, including: drug abuse, drug addiction, substance abuse, alcohol abuse, gambling addiction, prescription drug abuse, sexual addiction, and problem addiction to other substances and activities.
The 4-Point Program® offers specific tools and techniques for each of the program points:
Building and maintaining motivation
Coping with urges
Managing thoughts, feelings and behaviours
Living a balanced life
